Biteable Teams gives you everything you need to add video to your communication strategy. Quickly create videos and collaborate with your team using brandable scenes and templates, streamlined editing, and one-click sharing.

Here’s how to get started.

Getting started

When you’re added to a team on Biteable, you’ll get an email alert. Click the link in the email or head straight to https://app.biteable.com to log in.

Once you’re in Biteable Teams, there are two ways to make a video: using a video template or starting a new video from scratch.

Click + New video in the top ribbon bar to get started. Then, select "Create a video from scratch" to build a video from Branded Scenes, or "Start with a template" to start at 90% done.

Set up your branding

Before your brand colors, logo, and fonts can be instantly applied to your video, you'll need to confirm we've got your branding right. We call this brand set up. We'll automatically fetch your branding from your website, ready for you to tweak.

Downloading your Biteable video

Downloading your Biteable video is as simple as 1, 2, 3!

When you're finished creating your video, hit the Publish option on the left, then hit the button to build/update your video.

When your video has finished building, hit the 'Download' option on the left and you'll be set!

All videos are downloaded as .mp4 files with 30 fps (frame rate) and Channel 2 Stereo.

The frame width & height, bitrate, data rate, total bit rate, and audio sample size will vary, depending on which aspect ratio and how long/complicated the video is.

Uploading your own video footage

When creating a Biteable video, you can upload your own video to play during any scene.

How to upload your own video

There are a number of ways to upload your footage into Biteable, depending on where you are in the app.

From your Asset Library

The Asset Library is your one-stop shop for uploading and organizing your uploads and assets. You have a Personal Library (only you can see these assets) and a Team Library (for shared assets on a Teams plan)

Select "Assets" from the side menu
Choose between your Personal or Team Asset Library
Click "Upload media" to add a new clip to your library

Images and footage uploaded to your Asset Library can be easily added to any video at any time using the methods below.

From Script Mode

It's quick and easy to upload your own video footage from Script Mode.

Open or create a video project in Script Mode
Select a scene with media (image or video)
Click "Media options" at the bottom right of your video preview
Then select "Replace media" and choose the footage you'd like to upload

From Design Mode

There are two ways to upload video footage in Design mode — the Add tab and from your timeline.

Using Branded Scenes

Create stunning, on-brand videos in minutes with Branded Scenes. Choose from your master deck of pre-styled and pre-formatted scenes to build your video in a handful of clicks.

Where to find Branded Scenes

Branded Scenes live within each separate video project. To access them, open an existing project, choose a template, or create a new video, then Add a new scene in one of two ways:

Script Mode

Open or create a video project in Script Mode
Hover your mouse above or below a scene block to reveal an "Add" button
Alternatively, click the "Add" tab to the left of the editor

Design Mode

Choose a template or create a new video project
Click the "Add" tab to the left of the editor to find Branded Scenes

How to use Branded Scenes

To add a Branded Scene to your video, simply click the scene you'd like to use. The Branded Scene will be added to your video.

Every scene will be automatically branded with your company's set color schemes, fonts, and logo.

Editing Branded Scenes

Editing Branded Scenes is simple with Script Mode — type in your text, confirm your color scheme, then share your video.
