How to fix the video title or thumbnail on social media

How to fix the video title or thumbnail on social media

When you publish a video and then post a link to the video on a social media site, the social media site will usually import the title and thumbnail of the video automatically. If you don't change the title or thumbnail of your video, then everything is fine.

But if you change the title or thumbnail of your video, the change will not show up in your original social media post. This is because the social media post is static and once it imports the title and thumbnail, it doesn't go back and look for any changes.

How to update a video title or thumbnail for a social media post

To get your social media post to have the correct video title and thumbnail, you will need to duplicate your video project, make your changes to the title and/or thumbnail and then publish your video. Take the new URL for the Biteable watch page and create a new social post with your video's link.

How to duplicate a project

To duplicate a project, from your Biteable dashboard, hover your mouse over the project you want to duplicate. Click on the Options menu that appears and then click Duplicate.
