How to replace an image in a Biteable scene
If the image is in the foreground and there are no other elements layered above it, you can simply click on the image to select it. Then click the More button in the toolbar to expose the Properties panel. The More button looks like three dots stacked vertically on each other.
Next click the “Replace element” button. This will open the Content Bar which will allow you to select an image or video from your uploads, recordings, or from the Stock library. Simply select the image or video that you want to use and click it.
How to replace an image that has a frame
The process of replacing an image that has a frame applied to it is the same process described above. The difference is that the replaced image will inherit the frame that was applied to the original image. This is helpful when you are replacing a stock image from a Biteable scene that has had a frame applied to match or maintain a specific design for the scene.
How to replace a video
To replace a video, element that has no other elements layered above it, you can simply click on the video to select it. Then click the More button in the toolbar to expose the Properties panel. The More button looks like three dots stacked vertically on each other.

How to replace a background video or background image
In many of the scenes and templates built by Biteable, we have placed the video or the image as the background element. In these cases, there are often multiple graphic elements and text blocks layered on top of the background video or image. The end result is a high-quality, professionally designed look, but it can be challenging to select the image or video to replace it if you haven’t done it before.
The easiest way to select a background image or a background video is to click on the background of the scene in the timeline.
When you click this area, you will see the background image or video in the canvas with an outline indicating that it is selected.
Next click the More button in the toolbar to expose the Properties panel. The More button looks like three dots stacked vertically on each other.
If you have selected the background image or video, you will see a button labeled “Replace background”. Click this button to display the Content Bar which will allow you to select an image or video from your uploads, recordings, or from the Stock library. Simply select the image or video that you want to use and click it.
