How to use text refresh

Text refresh is currently available via script view or via the canvas in the editor.

Using the canvas:

Select the text box you'd like to tweak
Click the "Refresh" button to open the prompt box

To access script view:

Open or create a video project, or use our AI-powered Video Assistant.
Select the "Script" button above the start of the timeline to enter script view.

To refresh your text:

Select the text you'd like to change via the script view textbox and hit the "Refresh text" button


Type in how you'd like your text to change (longer, shorter, wittier, etc), then click "Submit"



If you like the suggestion, click "Accept & Replace". Hit "Cancel" to try again.

When to use text refresh

Use text refresh whenever you'd like to tweak your video's text. Use alongside AVA to tweak your AI-powered video script exactly how you'd like — simply generate your video, then use text refresh in the editor.
