Copy + Paste with Elements & Text

Copy and paste works differently for elements (images, videos, graphics, text boxes) than for text inside a text box — here's both.

Copy and paste elements

  1. Select the element on the canvas (an image, video, graphic, or a whole text box).
  2. Press Ctrl+C (PC) or Cmd+C (Mac) to copy it.
  3. Open the scene you want to paste into and press Ctrl+V / Cmd+V.

To duplicate an element within the same scene, select it and click the Duplicate button that appears above it.

Copy and paste text

To copy a selection of text (for example, to paste your script into a voiceover), don't copy the text box — instead double-click into the text, highlight the words you want, and use your operating system's normal copy/paste (Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V on PC, Cmd+C / Cmd+V on Mac). You can paste into any other text field, inside or outside Biteable.
