Your Asset Library: organize, share, and delete uploads

Your Asset Library is the home for everything you've uploaded — view, organize, share, and delete media in one place.

Open your Asset Library

Click Assets in the side menu (or go directly to app.biteable.com/client/asset-library/user). You'll see two sections:

  • My uploads — your personal uploads, plus your recordings and Record Request responses. Only you can see these.
  • Team uploads — shared assets everyone on your team can see and use.

Click Upload media in either section to add new files. Everything in your library can be added to any project from the Uploads panel in the editor.

Organize with folders

  • Create: click the folder icon next to "My uploads" (or "Team uploads") to create a folder. Use the three-dot menu on a folder to rename it, delete it, or create a sub-folder inside it.
  • File assets: drag and drop assets onto a folder.
  • Deleting a folder also deletes the assets inside it.

Share an upload with your team

Drag an asset from My uploads into a folder under Team uploads. This moves the asset (it no longer appears in My uploads), and everyone with access to that folder can use it.

Delete uploads

Hover over an asset, click the menu in its top-right corner, and choose Delete. You can filter the library by media type (for example, audio) to find things quickly. Deletion is permanent.

Deleting from the editor's content bar doesn't work — always delete from the Asset Library. For uploaded music inside a project, open the music panel's Uploads tab and click the trash icon next to the track.

Audio in the Asset Library

Music tracks can be uploaded to the Asset Library, but voiceovers can't — voiceover audio uploads go directly into a project's voiceover timeline. See Add, record, and adjust voiceovers.
