Edit an Avatar

To edit an avatar, open your project, select Avatar in the Content Bar, hover the avatar and click the three-dot menu, choose Edit, then change the character, voice, or script.

Step 1

Open a project and select Avatar from the Content Bar on the left.

Find the avatar you want to update, hover over the top right and you will see three dots that open a menu. Click 'Edit'.

Step 3

Select the avatar character you want to use - if you don't want to change the character, select the same one again.

Step 4

Scroll to find the voice you want to use. The original voice used will be highlighted. This can help you identify which voice was used for avatars as well.

Step 5

Make any changes you would like to the voiceover script.

Step 6

Click Re-generate to update the voiceover and preview the new voiceover audio.

Step 7

Check the box for Transparent Background if you want the avatar to have a transparent background.

Step 8

Click 'Update avatar' to generate the updated avatar. NOTE: Updating an avatar will remove the old avatar from your avatar library (but will not impact any avatars added to your video). After you update your avatar you will need to add or replace it in your project.
