Collaborate on videos with your team
Everyone on your team edits from their own account, but shared projects, scenes, and uploads are available to the whole team.
Share a project for team editing
- On the Projects page, hover over a project, click Options, and choose Enable shared editing. The project moves from your Personal folder to the Team folder, where teammates can open and edit it.
- You can also drag and drop projects between Personal and Team folders, or tick Share this video with your team when inviting someone from the editor.
- To stop sharing, use the same Options menu and choose Disable shared editing.
How collaboration works
- Shared videos live in the Team folders on everyone's Projects page.
- Anyone on the team can edit a shared video; changes are visible to everyone. Only Owners and Publishers can publish.
- Two people editing the same project at the same time can overwrite each other — coordinate who's editing when.
Team Favorites (share scenes)
- Save a scene: in the editor, click Add to Favorites above the canvas, then Save to Team Favorites.
- Use a team scene: click Add Scene → Team Favorites.
- Gotcha: a video's Team Favorite scenes are only usable by teammates if that video is also shared with the team — enable shared editing on the source video.
Sharing with someone outside your team
Team sharing is for collaborators on your account. To give your project to someone external — a client, a colleague on a different Biteable account — use Share a Copy instead: it generates a link that lets them copy the project into their own account, where it becomes fully theirs (edits don't affect your original). See Share a project externally / copy to another account. To share a finished video for viewing only, use the publish share link.
Share uploaded assets
Drag an upload from My uploads into a Team uploads folder in your Asset Library — everyone on the team can then use it.
