Change the Background Color
Change a scene's background color by selecting the background, then picking a new color.
Steps
- Select the scene's background: click an empty area of the canvas, use the layer palette to select the background layer, or click the scene's background strip in the timeline.
- With the background selected, change the color from the toolbar above the canvas or in the properties panel to the right.
If the color doesn't change
- A background image or animation is covering the color. If the scene has an opaque image or animation set as its background, the color sits behind it and won't be visible — remove or replace that element first.
- Transparent images show the color through. If the background element has transparency, changing the background color shows through the transparent areas.
