Adding Biteable videos to Google Slides and PowerPoint presentations

Common Questions:

I've recorded a video and want to add it to my slide deck
How do I add my video to Google Slides
How do I add my video to Powerpoint

Bring some life to your Google Slides or PowerPoint presentations with a Biteable video. Here's how to do it:

Note: Google Slides and PowerPoint have similar menu options, so the instructions below are the same for both platforms. Screenshots are provided below for Google Slides and PowerPoint.

How to add your video to your presentation

Download the Biteable video(s) you want to incorporate into your presentation as mp4 files. View this article for more information on downloading your video as an mp4.

Save or copy your video into your Google Drive folder (for Google Presentations) or on your computer or any other storage location accessible by your computer (for PowerPoint).

Open your presentation and navigate to the slide where you want to add a video.

Select Insert from the menu bar.

Select Video. You will be presented with various options. We recommend adding the mp4 from My Drive (Google Presentations) or Movie from File (PowerPoint).

Google Presentations

Note: For Google Presentations, ensure that your video file has access permissions for whoever will be accessing the video (e.g., presenter or individual viewers if they are accessing the presentation directly). If presenters/viewers do not have permission to access the video file, they will not be able to view and play the video.

PowerPoint

Once you select and add the file, it will be added to your presentation.
