Adding a voiceover with text-to-speech AI voiceovers
Use text-to-speech (AI Voices) in Biteable to add a natural-sounding voiceover to your videos without the need for recording. This guide walks you through the process step by step.

Open a video project or create a new one
Click the microphone icon in the timeline to open the voice-overs modal
Click “Text to speech”
Follow the steps shown. First enter the script or text you want to use. Then select the voice that works best for your video — you can click the Preview button to hear a sample of each voice. Next, click “Generate voiceover”.
Click “Add Voiceover to timeline”
Please note: Text to speech narrations have a limit of 1,000 characters per clip which is about 200 words.

The text-to-speech feature requires a paid subscription on the Biteable Premium plan . During your free trial period, you will have access to text-to-speech along with all of the other Premium features.
Text-to-speech tracks in any project(s) you created during your trial will remain in that project. However, you will not be able to edit or regenerate the text-to-speech track unless you upgrade to a Premium plan. New projects created under a Pro plan can not have text-to-speech tracks added.
There are several voices available to use, each with a different gender or accent. You can preview the available voices here or in the Biteable app.
