Getting started

There are two simple ways to get started with your first video.

AVA — our AI Video Assistant **. ** AVA leverages AI to turn your video's topic into an AI-generated script, storyboard, and video. Choose your video topic, size, and style, then make any further edits in the editor.

**Pre-made video templates. ** Our library of video templates is designed to make video creation simple. Start with one of our Plug & Play templates for the simplest editing experience. Type in your text and upload your logo.

Start with our AI Video Assistant (AVA)

To create a video with AVA, follow these steps:

1. Choose the 'Start from our Video Assistant' option when creating a new video, or click here.
2. Tell AVA what your video is about. Choose from a business, a product, a topic, or something else.
   
3. Enter some basic information about your topic
   
4. Choose a video size and a style
   
5. Review your AI-generated script and storyboard, making any changes you'd like
   
6. Generate your video
   
7. Easily make changes to video footage, images, or text. Watch a quick YouTube video to learn the basics.

Start with a template

Our simplest templates can be found in our Plug & Play category. To create a video with one of these templates:

1. Head to our Plug & Play category, and choose a template. You can preview each of them before selecting one.
2. Hit the "Edit video" button to open your template in the editor
3. Edit the text via the canvas
   
4. Or use the arrow to the left of the canvas to expand the script mode editor to tweak the text that way
   
5. You can also change the colors or the media. Watch a quick YouTube video to learn the basics.

Biteable basics video walkthroughs

Now that you have the basics of your first video down, take a stroll through our 'Getting started with Biteable' video walkthroughs.

1. Creating a video

We'll cover how to create a video from scratch (plus how to do it using AVA or a template), and how to set up your brand colors, logo, and fonts to auto-brand your videos.

We'll cover how to find and add scenes, what our styles are, uploading and recording assets, adding animations, and using soundtracks and voice-overs.

3. How to use the editor

We'll walk you through the basics of using the editor. This includes adding content, navigating layers, tweaking the timing, and adding transitions.

In the final walkthrough, we'll show you how to publish and share your finished video, and highlight some tools for easy team collaboration.
