Using shapes as masking overlays
Summary
Add shapes to your canvas or overlay layer to mask portions of your uploads. Click the overlay layer, select your shape (from Shapes or Screen Pointers categories), then adjust its size with drag handles and timing via the overlay timeline. Use the toolbar or properties panel to fine-tune appearance and when the overlay appears across your scenes.

To add an overlay to cover or mask a portion of an upload, you can add a shape directly to the canvas or use the overlay layer (will always sit on the layer and can span multiple scenes).
1: To add an element as an overlay click the overlay layer
2: Select your graphic category, screen pointers has very arrows and screenshare related tools. Shapes has common shapes.

1: Select a graphic to add it to the canvas or overlay layer

1: Use drag handles to adjust the size or shape of your element
2: Use the toolbar or properties panel to adjust properties of your element

1: Drag the element on the overlay timeline to adjust timing, or use drag handles to shorten or extend the duration of the overlay and when it will appear in the scene.
