Where did social sharing go?

Social media best practices have changed, and we've made some changes along with it. We've removed the social sharing buttons from our built-in sharing options.

Where did the social sharing buttons go?

Social media platforms now recommend downloading and uploading your video into their platform natively instead of sharing a link. We've removed the social sharing buttons from our Publish page to align with social media best practices.

Wait. Can I still share my video on social media?

Yes, of course! Biteable videos and social media go together like peanut butter and jelly — it's always a good idea. (And we love seeing your videos out in the wild).

How do I share my video on social media now?

You have a few quick and easy options for sharing your video on social media.

Download (then upload) your video

Most social media platforms suggest downloading and uploading your video into their platform for increased engagement. To download your video:

Download your video from the Publish tab

Log in to your social media platform of choice

Upload your video and choose or upload a thumbnail

Another option is to copy and paste your video's Biteable watch page link. This will generate a preview of your video, and link back to your video in Biteable. This option gives you complete access to native Biteable analytics, and any video updates are automatically reflected in real-time.

Select your preferred thumbnail

Copy your video's watch link by clicking "Copy link"

Share the link in your next social media post

Embed your video

If sharing to your blog or website, embedding your video may be the best option for you.

Click the "Embed" button to reveal your video's embed code, then paste it into your website or blog.

Publishing is only available to paid subscribers. Choose a plan to begin publishing and sharing your videos.
